Skills:

CAD EXPERIENCE: I have been responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining entire drawing packages for new products using AutoCAD. I have created drawings with my own designs, notes from management, sketches from other engineers and supplier specifications. Drawings I have done included detailed part drawings, assembly drawings, exploded assembly drawings, parts lists, schematics, cable harnesses and circuit boards. I directed draftsmen in drawing creation and editing following military standards and ANSI/ASME drawing guidelines. I have experience with document control procedures utilizing ECN's and ECR's to maintain revision control. My recent position at Boeing included making drawings in AutoCAD 2008 based on text, photographs or sketches on change requests, acquiring the many approvals and completing the procedures to incorporate the new information. I first learned AutoCAD at a summer in my college years and later had formal training at Texas A&M and corporate training through AutoCAD distributors. I convinced my employer to purchase Autodesk Inventor and send me and others to Inventor training. I have primarily done mechanical drawings with some electrical schematics or circuit boards, though my training did include other categories such as structural. OTHER SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE: Proficient with all Mircrosoft Office software. I have created and edited files in Excel, Word, and Power Point over my entire career.
