Andrew Coleman, an oil and gas analyst with Raymond James in Houston said the cost savings are a big benefit of using natural gas to power drilling and wide-scale adoption of LNG in the oilfield may be meaningful.
"While we had expected some margin impact stemming from these issues, it appears that the impact is greater than we anticipated," Raymond James analysts John Freeman and Andrew Coleman told clients in a research note.
