Abstract:

The subject invention improves the electrical connection in a clutch assembly for engaging a compressor in a vehicle air conditioning system. In accordance with the subject invention, a tab extends from the mounting plate and the second end of the ground lead is frictionally retained between the tab and the core winding housing. This is accomplished by turning a tab out of the plane of a mounting plate, placing the second end of the ground lead under the tab and bending the tab downwardly to clamp the second end of the ground lead between the tab and the core winding housing to frictionally retain the second end of the ground lead between the tab and the core winding housing.

Abstract:

A unitary, “hollow out” piston is molded or forged with only two tools, which move along a single parting direction, with a pair of arcuate side walls that provide maximal outer surface area with minimal thickness and weight. The thin walls are internally fortified by a cruciform support structure that is molded integrally by the same tools. No post forming machining steps are needed to reduce weight.

Abstract:

A method is provided for determining a rating of a likelihood of a victim system receiving malicious traffic from an attacker system at a point in time. The method comprises: generating a first forecast from a time series model based on past history of attacks by the attacker system; generating a second forecast from a victim neighborhood model based on similarity between the victim system and peer victim systems; generating a third forecast from a joint attacker-victim neighborhood model based on correlation between a group of attacker systems including the attacker system and a group of victim systems including the victim system; and determining the rating of the likelihood of the victim system receiving malicious traffic from the attacker system at the point in time based on the first forecast, the second forecast, and the third forecast.

Abstract:

Disclosed are methods of polarizing macrophages to exhibit M2 phenotype, including introducing an effective amount of gingiva-derived mesenchymal stem cells to an environment comprising a population of macrophages such that the macrophages are in fluid communication with the gingiva-derived mesenchymal stem cells. Also disclosed are methods of promoting cutaneous wound healing including administering to a patient an effective amount of human gingiva-derived mesenchymal stem cells, thereby resulting in at least one of accelerated wound closure, rapid re-epithelialization, improved angiogenesis and improved tissue remodeling relative to untreated controls. Abstract:

An automotive radiator has an integrated air-liquid cooled oil cooler incorporated directly into the radiator core and header tanks. A pair of nested oil cooler tubes, nested in a general U shape, has parallel upper and lower lengths running through the top and bottom of the basic core, spaced within the same header plates as the standard coolant tubes. Intermediate parallel lengths of the oil cooler tubes run through the center lengthwise of one longer header tank. A shorter header tank allows the upper and lower lengths of the oil cooler tubes to run through its header plate with clearance from its tank ends.
