A mechanism for adjusting the zoom of a firearm scope includes an elongated, generally cylindrical body which may be formed integral with or as a separate component for attaching to the zoom ring. A plurality of annularly spaced openings or fins are formed on the body and extend between the proximal (close to the shooter) and distal ends thereof. The length of the body is such that at least one of the openings or fins is always present adjacent the thumb rest area of the firearm (e. g. , rifle) handle. As such, a shooter need only move their trigger hand thumb to reach and engage an opening or fin to rotate the body which causes simultaneous rotation of the zoom ring.

Abstract:
A hot beverage maker and dispensing system () is provided having an integral beverage reservoir () that uses positive air pressure to dispense the brewed beverage from the reservoir (). The positive air pressure is generated by an electric pump () that is energized when an actuator () is depressed by a container to be filled with the brewed beverage. The actuator () also causes a first valve () to pause the beverage during brewing into a brew head () from being directed into the reservoir (). The actuator () also causes a second valve () in the lid () of the reservoir () to seal the reservoir (). Thus, positive air pressure generated by the electric pump () forces the beverage in the reservoir () through a dispensing outlet () into the container. When the actuator () is release!, the brewing of the beverage may resume and the beverage may again be directed from the brew head () into the reservoir ().

Abstract:
An apparatus in which a sheet is registered during the movement thereof. The sheet is moved along a path in a forward direction of movement and a lateral direction of movement substantially normal thereto. The lateral movement of the sheet causes the side edge of the sheet to engage a registration edge so as to be aligned thereat. The magnitude of the moving force applied on the sheet is proportional to the thickness of the sheet. In this way, the moving force varies as a function of the thickness of the sheet with the sheet slipping laterally when engaging the registration edge to prevent buckling thereof.

Abstract:
A hollow game stick handle (12) formed as an extruded member and adapted to mate with a molded hockey stick blade (14) having an improved socket (18) for holding the handle to thereby provide a hockey stick (10) for use in street hockey, ice hockey, and the like,, is described. The handle is an elongated member having a substantially rectangular cross-section with a reduced wall thickness that approximates the weight and feel of a wooden hockey stick handle.

Abstract:
A lens cover for a firearm scope comprises a lens ring configured to mount to a lens, a cover bracket pivotally mounted to the lens ring, and a cover membrane disposed upon a portion of the lens ring and a portion of the cover bracket. When the cover bracket is in a closed position, the cover membrane creates a seal against the lens ring. The lens ring comprises an elastomeric material so as to enable mounting of the lens ring to lenses of differing diameters. The cover bracket includes a plurality of opposing mounting holes for selectively mounting the cover bracket to the adjustable lens ring.
