Belle Davenport
Belle grew up in Edina and Wayzata MN, graduated from Wayzata High School and received her undergraduate degree in English from the University of Minnesota. A busy mother of seven, Belle has been in the real estate business for over thirty years. She began her career under the watchful eye of her experienced father, Gus Cadwallader, who was the manager at the time of Frederick Herfurth Real Estate Company in Wayzata.
Belle is extremely active in her community and has held leadership positions in many organizations including current president of the Wayzata Rotary, former president of the Wayzata Chamber of Commerce, former president of Minneapolis Family and Children's Service, project leader for Habitat for Humanity, Chairperson of the Wayzata Chilly Open, and Chairperson of the re-launching of the Minnehaha on Lake Minnetonka. She is also an active member and currently a Deacon at Wayzata Community Church. Belle has also been a trainer of new agents for Edina Realty in Wayzata. In 2001 Belle was presented with the honor of being the "Wayzata Person of the Year," and the WCCO "Good Neighbor." Recently Belle has added her daughter, Rebecca to her real estate team, Belle Davenport and Co., Inc., making her family a third generation presence in the western suburbs real estate world.
Outside of work and her many volunteer obligations, Belle enjoys entertaining her family and friends with good home cooking, playing with and watching her eight grandchildren grow, and tending her beautiful cottage gardens at home. Belle shares her home with her husband David and their sprightly chocolate lab, Kelsey.
