Abstract:

A bifurcated stent comprises a first stent section and a second stent section. Each stent section is expandable from a predeployed state to a deployed state independently from one another. The second stent section having an end engaged to a receiving region of the first stent section. In the deployed state the first stent section defines a primary flow path and the second stent section defines a secondary flow path in fluid communication with the first flow path. At least a portion of one or both the first stent section and second stent section is constructed from a wire member.

Abstract:

An emboli filter for deployment in a body lumen to capture emboli entrained in a fluid flowing through the lumen includes a flexible elongated member sized to be passed through the lumen. A filter media is carried on and substantially surrounding the elongated member. The filter media has a first end secured to the elongated member adjacent the distal end. A second end of the filter media has a periphery movable toward and away from the elongated member. Opposing internal surfaces of the filter media define a volume into which emboli may flow through the second end when the periphery is moved away from the elongated member. The emboli are trapped within the volume when the periphery is moved toward the elongated member. An actuator moves the periphery toward and way from the elongated member. The actuator includes a plurality of elastic loops.

Abstract:

A method and system for displaying comment documents within a parent document. to the parent document allows the user to enter content to be included in the comment. In response to indication that the entered comment should be saved, the comment contents are captured and stored into a newly created comment document associated with the parent document. The comment document contents are presented through a display region within the user interface to the parent document. In response to detection of a transition of a parent document from a state in which comments can be added to a state in which comments cannot be added, comment documents associated with the parent document are located, and the contents of those comment documents are copied into the parent document such that they are displayed as part of the parent document, and all associated comment documents for that parent document are deleted.

Abstract:

A bifurcated stent includes a first stent section and a second stent section. The first stent section is balloon expandable, has an unexpanded configuration, an expanded configuration, and a tubular wall defining a secondary opening. The secondary stent section is self-expanding and an end of the secondary stent section is engaged to a portion of the tubular wall of the primary stent section defining the secondary opening. The secondary stent section has an unexpanded configuration with a first length and an expanded configuration with a second length where the first length is less than the second length. The secondary stent section is expanded to the expanded configuration after the primary stent section is expanded to the expanded configuration. The secondary stent section forms a portion of the tubular wall of the primary stent section in the unexpanded configuration.

Abstract:

An exemplary hydraulic system includes a first digital valve fluidly connectable to a first hydraulic load and a pump. The first valve is operable to fluidly connect the first hydraulic load to the pump. A second digital valve is fluidly connectable to a second hydraulic load and the pump. The second valve is operable to fluidly connect the second hydraulic load to the pump. The system includes a first sensor for detecting a pump discharge pressure and a second sensor for detecting an inlet pressure of the first hydraulic load. A controller is configured to determine a time delay based on the pump discharge pressure and the first hydraulic load inlet pressure and to send a control signal instructing the second valve to commence opening at a time substantially equal to the time delay after commencing closing the first valve.

The graphical user interface to a parent document provides the user with the ability to enter a comment with regard to the parent document. In response to indication that a comment is to be entered, the user interface to the parent document allows the user to enter content to be included in the comment. In response to indication that the entered comment should be saved, the system operates to capture the comment contents and store it into a newly created comment document associated with the parent document. After a comment document has been created, its contents are presented through a predetermined display region within the user interface to the parent document. In response to detection of a transition of a parent document from a state in which comments can be added to a state in which comments cannot be added, the system locates all comment documents associated with the parent document, copies the contents of those comment documents into the parent document such that they are displayed as part of the parent document, and deletes all associated comment documents for that parent document.
