A belt rib wear gauge comprising a body, an elongate member having a length and extending from the body, the elongate member having an arcuate surface, the elongate member further comprising a tactile surface cooperatively disposed with respect to the arcuate surface, and the arcuate surface having a predetermined radial dimension wherein engagement of the elongate member within a belt groove and the position of the tactile surface relative to a datum plane at a tip of belt ribs disposed immediately adjacent to the belt groove indicates a state of wear of the belt ribs.

Abstract:

An authentication server in an illustrative embodiment is configured to communicate with one or more client devices over a network. Responsive to a successful login to a user account by a client device, the authentication server provides the client device with a login cookie for the user account for potential utilization in one or more subsequent logins to the user account. The authentication server initializes a cookie-specific counter for the login cookie, and increments the cookie-specific counter for each of one or more unsuccessful logins to the user account made utilizing the login cookie. Responsive to the cookie-specific counter reaching a specified value, the authentication server locks the user account for any subsequent logins to the user account made utilizing the login cookie. The authentication server resets the cookie-specific counter responsive to a successful login to the user account made utilizing the login cookie. The authentication server also maintains a non-cookie counter for counting failed logins made without utilizing a valid login cookie.

Abstract:

An agricultural machine includes a vibration stimulation source configured to generate a vibration stimulation signal directed toward plant matter and a sensor system configured to sense electromagnetic radiation reflected from the plant matter, generate a first signal based on the sensed electromagnetic radiation, and generate a second signal indicative of a resonant vibration response of the plant matter, that is in response to the vibration stimulation signal. The agricultural machine includes a plant evaluation system configured to, based on the first and second signals, generate plant characterization data indicative of one or more physical characteristics of the plant matter, and a control system configured to generate an action signal based on the plant characterization data.

Abstract:

A cylindrical bi-directional wedge clutch, including: an axis of rotation; a carrier ring; a hub; a wedge plate including at least a portion radially disposed between the carrier ring and the hub; and a wedge element displaceable, for first and second locked modes in which the hub and the carrier ring are non-rotatably connected, in a first axial direction to contact the wedge plate and expand the wedge plate radially outwardly, and displaceable, for a free-wheel mode in which the hub and the carrier ring are rotatable with respect to each other, in a second axial direction, opposite the first axial direction. For the first locked mode, the hub and carrier ring are arranged to rotate in a first circumferential direction. For the second locked mode, the hub and carrier ring are arranged to rotate in a second circumferential direction, opposite the first circumferential direction.
