Bob Nguyen, a former Primary Global analyst who pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate with the U.S., testified at Fleishmans trial that Tortora was a client of Fleishmans who got nonpublic information about technology companies through the Mountain View, California-based research firm.
-- Sonny Nguyen of San Jose, a former Nvidia financial analyst, pleaded guilty last month. As recompense for the information Nguyen (no relation to Bob Nguyen) passed along about Nvidia, Jiau gave him some of the aforementioned lobsters and one iPhone, according to trial testimony.
