About:
I graduated from the University of Washington in June of 2008 with a degree in Construction Management. I worked with Mortenson Construction as an engineer for almost 2 years. While this was a good experience, I always knew that I would be switching careers to Real Estate; it was just a matter of when.
In the fall of 2009 I signed with Coldwell Banker Bain on Lake Union. This move was made primarily so I could be in a position where I am working for myself. I am a highly motivated person and I have an extreme drive for success. A career in which I am an "independent contractor" caters to those traits much more than a large corporation does. Climbing the corporate ladder is just not for me. I thrive in an environment where I can create my own schedule and go after my own goals.
As a Realtor, my goal is to make the process as streamline and stress-free as possible for my clients so that all they need to focus on is the excitement of getting into a new home. I strongly believe in open communication and listening to my client's needs/wants. Another item I passionately believe in is previewing homes. This goes for both the buyer and seller side of things. For buyers, my previewing allows me to set up the most efficient touring and once I know exactly what they are looking for, it allows me to throw out properties that would not be viable options for them. There is nothing worse then wasting someone’s time by showing them properties that are not options. It is my job to put only the best properties in front of them. On the seller side of things, previewing allows me to know the comparable homes for sale, inside and out. By having this knowledge, it allows me to have the correct price range for the listing and it also helps me in negotiations to know exactly what the competition has.
Buying/selling a home is one of the largest and most emotional transactions an individual can make. I enjoy the thought that I can help individuals find the right fit for not a house, but for their home and place of many memories to come.
