Brenda is a fourth generation New Yorker. She has lived in NC for over 25 years. She has B.S. Business and Communications (magna cum laude) from Barton College. After graduating, she became an Admin Asst to the Representative from Wilson, in Raleigh’s House of Representatives. In her corporate career she was a Program/Project Manager; Marketing Specialist; Technical Writer; Recruiter; and Career Coach. After leaving the corporate world she went to work for a non-profit. Brenda has surrounded herself with animals, most rescued. She volunteers at shelters and has completed a Wildlife Rehab course in order to help rescued injured/orphaned critters. Brenda’s compassion doesn’t end with caring for animals; her 3 children and extended family are at the center of what is really important to her. Gatherings on holidays and just for the fun of it are really an important part of her life.
