Abstract:

A self-service identification card station is disclosed providing a method for creating, customizing, and dispensing identification cards utilizing information provided by a purchaser about the intended identification card recipient. A purchaser may customize the identification card with the information the purchaser would like to include on the identification card. The self-service identification card station provides for the production of such customized identification cards from identification card blanks stored within the station that are printed with appropriate information on demand. The self-service identification station also allows the purchaser to customize the background of the cards. The self-service order station may be utilized in a retail outlet for public use or at a private location for employee use.

Abstract:

The present invention provides a system and method for advertising on a self-service order station, such as a gift card kiosk or a photographic order fulfillment kiosk. The system comprises a self-service order station with a processing unit configured to execute a computer software program that enables the display of advertisements to a consumer who is utilizing the self-service order station. The self-service order station is capable of displaying advertisements on a user interface. The advertisements may be presented to the costumer in various locations within the user interface and in different formats. The method enables retailers to display exclusive advertisements on the self-service order station in some instances, while allowing for the display of multiple advertisements in other instances.

Abstract:

The present disclosure is directed to interactive photo booths and associated systems and methods. In one embodiment, for example, an interactive photo booth can include a housing having sidewalls that form an enclosure sized to receive one or more users. The interactive photo booth can also include a backdrop within the enclosure and a camera directed toward the backdrop that takes at least one photo of the users. The interactive photo booth can further include a first user interface in the enclosure and a second user interface on the sidewall of the housing. The first user interface can be configured to receive user selections related to the backdrop, and the second user interface can be configured to edit the photos taken by the camera.
