Abstract:

An overcap includes a closure and a tear strip. The closure includes two “permanent” retainer flanges adapted to engage an underside of an annular lip included in a can and arranged to surround a dispenser nozzle. The tear strip includes two “temporary” retainer flanges adapted to engage the underside of the annular lip to help retain the overcap on the can until the tear strip is separated from the closure.

A disc top dispensing closure which includes a body having an opening and an actuator having a channel mounted to the closure body. The actuator is pivotable between an open position, wherein the channel and the opening of the body form a continuous fluid path, and a closed position, wherein the channel and the opening of the body do not form a continuous fluid path. The actuator is also rotatable between a locked position, wherein the actuator is not movable between the open and the closed position, and an unlocked position, wherein the actuator is movable between the open and the closed position.

Abstract:

A marking wand includes a paint canister and a frame that receives the paint canister. The paint canister loads into a chamber provided at the bottom of the frame so that a dispenser of the paint canister faces downwardly toward the ground. Once the paint canister is loaded in the frame, a user can hold a handle at the top of the frame and pull a trigger included in the handle to actuate the dispenser by pushing the dispenser in a predetermined location thereby discharging paint from the paint canister and marking the ground.
