Abstract:
A gravity-fed, manually-operable dispenser for sugar, creamer and other particles and granules is comprised of a particulate reservoir affixed to a dispensing base by engagement tabs and slots. The tabs and slots allow the dispenser to be easily disassembled for maintenance and cleaning. The base encloses a substantially cylindrical rotating measuring/dispensing vane that has several hollow apertures into which particulates flow from the reservoir. The vane rides on a smooth, flat surface that seals or closes off the apertures. An opening in the flat surface of the dispensing base allows particulates in a full aperture to fall through and out of the base. A soft gasket over surfaces of the vane that would otherwise make direct contact with the base portion prevent the vane from becoming lodged in place by crystalline material.

Abstract:
Fixed amounts of granular and granulated seasonings are dispensed from a rotatable disc that lies flat or horizontal and which includes a through-hole or void. The void is gravity-filled with granulated seasonings from a hole in the bottom of a hopper. A screen below the disc is formed to have open, through-holes and a solid land. The void in the disc fills with granules when the void is beneath a hole in the hopper but over a solid land thus preventing granules to spill through the disc. Rotation of the disc moves the void away from the land, allowing granules in the void to fall through holes in the screen. A gasket provides a seal between the disc and the hopper. The disc is rotated back and forth around its axis by vertical movement of an actuator about the horizontal hinge.

Abstract:
Bezels or escutcheons for a temperature-controlled food holding cabinet are removable and field replaceable by the use of interlocking tabs and detents that hold the escutcheon in place and align the escutcheon to electrical connectors. A tab formed on either the escutcheon or chassis of the cabinet, engages a corresponding detent formed on either the cabinet chassis or the escutcheon. Two tabs and detents are preferably used. One tab engages a corresponding detent with an interference fit.

Abstract:
Escutcheons for a temperature-controlled food holding cabinet are removable and field replaceable by the use of interlocking keys and keyholes that hold the escutcheon in place and align the escutcheon to electrical connectors. The escutcheons are provided with illuminated user interfaces. A key formed on either the escutcheon or chassis of the cabinet, engages a corresponding keyhole formed on either the cabinet chassis or the escutcheon.

A adjustable resistance band assembly for providing resistive force during the performance of an exercise. The adjustable resistance band assembly includes a first end, a second end, and a longitudinal axis extending therebetween. First and second resilient members are provided. An adjustment assembly enables a user to selectively engage the first or first and second resilient members to adjust the resistive force provided for performance of an exercise.

Abstract:
A vision analytics and validation (VAV) system for providing an improved inspection of robotic assembly, the VAV system comprising a trained neural network three-way classifier, to classify each component as good, bad, or do not know, and an operator station configured to enable an operator to review an output of the trained neural network, and to determine whether a board including one or more “bad” or a “do not know” classified components passes review and is classified as good, or fails review and is classified as bad. In one embodiment, a retraining trigger to utilize the output of the operator station to train the trained neural network, based on the determination received from the operator station.

Abstract:
A clean in place assembly for a soft serve ice cream dispenser includes an ice cream dispenser. A clean in place system having a water tank including a heater disposed therein is attached to the ice cream dispenser. A control interface is disposed on the tank. The control interface is connected to operating circuitry of the ice cream dispenser. A nozzle of the ice cream dispenser is formed of a conductive metal material and includes a notch formed therein circumferentially about a portion of the nozzle and includes radiused surfaces that extend to portions of the nozzle that house O-rings.

A method of varying a resistive force applied by exercise equipment including providing a resistance band assembly for providing resistive force during the performance of an exercise. The resistance band assembly includes a housing having a first end, a second end, and a longitudinal axis extending therebetween. A bore is defined in the housing and a connector is provided in the bore. The connector includes first and second surfaces and a hole is defined in the connector and extends between the surfaces. A disc is also provided in the bore and also has a first and second surface. An aperture is defined in the disc and extends between the first and second surfaces thereof. A first and second resilient member is provided and these resilient members are selectively engageable with the resistance band assembly to provide a first resistive force during the performance of an exercise.
