Abstract:

The present invention is directed to an outdoor blower that is capable of safely releasing any electrostatic charge that builds up in the blower. During the operation of the blower, electric charge builds up in the housing and components of the blower as particles in the air are moved through the blower. The blower includes a wire contact in the handle that is electrically connected to various other components in the blower. As electric charge is built up in the blower, it can be passed to the wire contact, which is graspable by a user, who acts as a ground and is able to release any charge that builds up.

Abstract:

The present invention is directed to a pressure washer having a main housing and a roll cage surrounding the main housing for protection. The roll cage is generally rectangular and provides flat surfaces to make it easier to store the unit, and importantly provides a flat top surface to allow other items to stack on top of the unit. The main housing also includes a storage compartment to store accessories, including a trigger gun. The trigger gun includes a trigger guard with openings to store additional nozzles for the gun.

The battery-powered blower includes a housing assembly including a first housing portion having a first inner surface, a second housing portion having a second inner surface, and connected to the first housing portion, and a third housing portion connected to the second portion. The third housing portion has a side outer surface configured to receive a battery. The battery is mountable to the side outer surface of the third housing portion. The second housing portion in connection with to the first housing portion forms an inner chamber therebetween. A fan is provided in the inner chamber to facilitate airflow through the housing assembly and out an outlet, and a motor is provided intermediate to the second housing portion and the third housing portion.
