Abstract:

An evaporative fuel system is provided. The evaporative fuel system includes a fuel tank and a conduit having a first end connected to the fuel tank and a second end. A vent structure is connected to the second end of the conduit. The vent structure includes a housing and an air passageway defined in the housing wherein at least a portion of the air passageway is a sinuous path. A first port is formed in the housing for connecting the air passageway to the conduit. A second port is formed in the housing for connecting the air passageway to atmosphere.
