Abstract:

The invention provides an improved gas cylinder and valve for filling or discharging a gas cylinder comprising a body having a first end, a second end, and an axial bore for providing a passageway for flow of fluid. A collar is provided having an outer surface for engaging an external member to the valve for accepting or discharging fluid. A core is provided having an axial bore for receiving a pin disposed within the body and providing a passageway for flow of the fluid. The first end of the body is adapted to removably mount and rotationally fix the collar. The first end of the body is further adapted to removably receive the core, whereby the core retains the collar on the body when the core is received by the body.

Abstract:

The invention provides a barrel for a gun having a portion comprising a substantially transparent material. The barrel can be made of any substantially transparent material including a polycarbonate or glass, such as tempered glass. The barrel is coated with a substantially transparent material to add hardness, which provides scratch resistance, and prevent deterioration of the substantially transparent material. A barrel assembly is constructed by attaching the barrel to a gun housing, also called a barrel cage, comprised of a stiff material, for example metal such as aluminum. In another aspect of the invention, an expansion chamber is provided having a housing with a portion comprising a substantially transparent material, such as a polycarbonate or glass, such as, tempered glass. The housing is coated with a substantially transparent material to reduce scratching and absorption of pressurized gas into the transparent material. The housing is partially enclosed within a cage to provide additional protection and stiffness to the expansion chamber.

Abstract:

The invention provides an improved gun for firing a projectile comprising a grip, a receiver, a projection on either the grip or receiver and a retainer fixedly attached to the other, so that the projection and retainer selectively engage each other, retaining the grip and receiver in a fixed relationship. The apparatus provides a safety retainer and a safety projection, whereby the safety retainer and safety projection engage one another when the hammer is in the ready position, maintaining the grip and receiver in the fixed relationship. A safety member is provided preventing the retainer from disengaging the projection when the hammer is in the ready position, and blocking the hammer from moving into the ready position when the retainer is not in the first position and the hammer is not in the ready position. The invention provides a process for making a receiver for firing a projectile.

A custom designed and personalized time piece comprises a case, a face, a time keeping mechanism, an hour hand spindle and a minute hand spindle. A personal photographic image provided by a customer is divided into a torso and head portion, a first appendage portion and a second appendage portion. The second appendage portion is appended to the hour hand and the first appendage portion is appended to the minute hand. Abstract:

A custom designed and personalized virtual time piece comprises the image of a case, the image of a face, a time keeping mechanism, the image of an hour hand spindle and the image of a minute hand spindle. Abstract:

What is provided is an improved gas-powered gun for projecting lightweight projectiles, such as paint balls. Like guns presently available on the market, the gun of the invention has a handle, a barrel, a projectile chamber within the barrel, a bolt disposed within the barrel immediately rearward of the projectile chamber, a hammer disposed immediately rearward of the bolt, a spring for propelling the hammer rearwardly during the firing operation, a pressure chamber which retains a discreet amount of a pressurized gas and a valve for releasing the pressurized gas to the projectile chamber upon impact from the hammer. The improved gun of the invention differs from the gun presently on the market by the fact that the improved gun has a cocking mechanism comprising a pump handle slidably disposed around the barrel, and a bolt link slidably disposed in a longitudinal groove defined within the exterior surface of the barrel parallel with the longitudinal axis of the barrel. The bolt link is attached to the pump handle at its one end and to the bolt at its other end. Since the cocking mechanism is internalized, gun has a more "gun like" appearance and is impervious to dust and other external particles which cause damage.
