Abstract:

Electronic information is made more readily available to one or more access requestors based on an anticipated demand for the electronic information using a process, system or computer software. For instance, electronic information stored on a first storage medium is identified for transport (e. g. , in response to a request of at least one of the access requestors), and the electronic information is transported accordingly. Afterwards, a determination is made to store the electronic information on a second storage medium that is more accessible to the access requestors than the first storage medium. The determination is based on a size of the electronic information and an anticipated demand of the access requestors for the electronic information. The anticipated demand is determined based at least on information that is not particular to any single access requestor. The electronic information then is stored on the second storage medium and the access requestors are provided access to the electronic information from the second storage medium.

Abstract:

The existence of any one of Nbioagents in a sample, N being an integer greater than 1, may be quickly determined in two major steps: (1) performing N separate ELISA processes (e.g. Test , Test , and Test , where N=3) on portions of the sample concurrently to identify (INDIC. A) a group of N bioagents that contain the bioagent, each of the N separate ELISA processes is capable of identifying the presence of a bioagent that falls within a unique group of N bioagents and in which the bioagents detectable by any one of those processes is different from the bioagents that are detectable by any other of the N processes. Then, when a test shows positive, performing N additional ELISA processes (e.g. Test , Test & Test , where N=3) on portions of the sample concurrently to identify (INDIC. B) the particular bioagent. Each of the latter N processes is capable of only identifying a respective one of the individual bioagents that form the group of N bioagents identified in the previous step.

Numerous arrangements for permanent magnets are disclosed that can focus the flux produced by the magnets. Depending on the particular application in which the disclosed designs and techniques are used, efficiency and reliability may be increased by minimizing flux leakage, increasing peak flux density, and shaping the flux fields to improve the effective coercivity of the flux focusing permanent magnet arrangement when loaded, and to achieve customized voltage and current waveforms. The disclosed magnet assemblies may be incorporated into a machine, such as a motor/generator, having windings and may be disposed for movement relative to the windings. The magnet assembly may be mounted on a support formed of one or more ferromagnetic materials, such as a back iron. The disclosed flux focusing magnet assemblies may be formed using a variety of manufacturing methods.
