Abstract:
An apparatus and method for cooling air that utilizes a removable reservoir that may be filled with a consumable beverage or other cooled liquid or solid material. The bottom of the reservoir is made of a thermally conductive material that is placed within an air duct within a base unit that has a battery powered fan capable of drawing in warm air from outside of the base unit and cooling it by passing it over the thermally conductive material in a turbulent fashion and expelling it back into the surrounding environment. An expandable hose may also be included to direct the airflow in a desired direction or location. The unit may also include an alternative path for airflow such that the airflow may be heated. The unit may also be secured to an open air vehicle such as a golf cart to provide cooled or heated air for golf course patrons. Another important feature of the air conditioner is to provide a means to prevent unauthorized access to the contents of the reservoir as to prevent contamination of its contents.

Abstract:
A driver for engaging and dispensing fluid from a sealed, prefilled syringe is provided. The driver includes a body and a rotating actuator configured to engage a plunger of the prefilled syringe. The driver is configured such that rotation of the rotating actuator relative to the body imparts both rotational movement and axial movement to a plunger of the prefilled syringe resulting in ejection of fluid from the prefilled syringe.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a bag dispenser that has a clam-shell arrangement including a hood, base, and also has a mounting system. A bag-dispensing mouth of the system has two opposing members that create resistance when bags (e.g., rolled bags) are pulled out through the mouth. The resistance is adjustable using a cam that can be locked in a variety of positions. The cam engages a drive bar to create the resistance.

Abstract:
A dispenser for dispensing a predetermined amount of material from a prefilled syringe is provided. The dispenser includes a dispenser body and a plunger. The dispenser body includes a syringe mounting region and a nozzle portion through which the material is dispensed. The nozzle portion has a syringe dispensing end receiving cavity configured to mate with the dispensing end of the syringe and an outlet. A fluid flow path fluidly communicates the syringe dispensing end receiving cavity with the outlet and includes a measuring cavity having a predetermined volume. The plunger is carried by the dispenser body. The plunger has a retracted state in which the plunger is retracted from the measuring cavity such that the outlet is in fluid communication with the syringe dispensing end receiving cavity. The plunger has a depressed state in which the plunger extends through the measuring cavity to evacuate material from the measuring cavity.

The Keys have had sightings before 31 were reported in the last five years but never hatchlings. While no nests or eggs were found last month, the hatchlings are almost surely the offspring of wild pythons, which may have swam to the island, said USGS biologist Bryan Falk.
