During a dark episode with my own struggle with longterm and debilitating Illness, shocked at how unimaginably painful life was while sick, I slowly began to work on the concept for Eclectic Giving with the dream of raising money so that others won't have to experience some of what I did...

Bragging Rights:

I've done a few things in my life that seem like they could outlive me. For example, in high school as a peer counselor I worked to set up a peer group therapy session which still exists today and seems to show no signs of disapearing and that was about 25 years ago. Most recently I successfully lobbied to have a defacto community garden removed from the NYC auction block and possesion moved into Green Thumb making it a permanent community garden. In the years in between those examples there were a few other similar things I worked on. Additionally, I always try to do some type of volunteer work.
