SPECIAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS Moved my family, dogs, cats, and kids, across country alone, 8 times in seven years, driving a 24 U-Haul truck and towing a U-Haul trailer behind. For 25 years, transported horse in a 28 four-horse gooseneck trailer towed by a pickup truck. Operate and run a Kuboda 4200L tractor since 1993, with snow blade, mower deck, post hole digger, etc. Have fought and won arguments and battles with: The U.S. Customs the IRS, with my delegation, leading them in the 1972 State Convention in Dallas, TX, to our voting positions the airlines during the air traffic controllers strike in NY in the 60s, got people on planes when nobody else could in civil courts defending myself (the only two law suits I ever won!!) the US Naval Academy, and, my kids (a big one!!). Took my son, with a grade point average of 1.77 when he graduated from high school and got him into The United States Naval Academy, from whence he graduated. AND, all the while, letting him believe is was his idea! (There is a God!) Over a two-year period, in an attempt to raise money for our church, I initiated, researched, interviewed, collected data, created spreadsheets, drew comparisons and conclusions, made presentations to my pastor and the parish council, of seven foresters in the area and their proposals for harvesting our wooded acreage. The proposals ranged anywhere from $40,000 to [] guaranteed to us. It required a vote from the congregation, which I also, initiated, prepared, announced, conducted, and published the outcome. Then, I worked with the winning-bid company to bring the project to its conclusion and deposit the proceeds. Created, wrote, and published the weekly parish bulletin for four years. With a talent for interior decorating, have consulted for many friends/clients helping to decorate their homes for their own use and/or to enhance their homes for a higher resale dollar. Designed and decorated our church hall and increasing its appeal, thereby, its potential rental dollars for weddings, anniversary parties, and other special events.
