About:
My Commitment To All Of My Clients Is Total Honesty In All Phases Of The Transaction. Simply Put, I Tell It Like It Is. I have been licensed since 1977 in Virginia, later DC and MD. I was a member of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR) Grievance Committee for over 8 years. I have successfully represented over 200 sellers and 250 buyers. Areas Of Expertise First Time Home Buyers Investors New Construction I have sold over 35 new homes "from dirt to deed" starting with the land, preconstruction techniques, pre-drywall inspections and final walk through and follow up inspections up to 5 years after construction. Remember that using a Buyers Agent costs you nothing, but I provide you with the benefit of my experience to guide you through the process and represent your best interest in any negotiations. Senior Citizens My job is helping you make a smooth transition to your next home, whether it be something smaller, an adult community, or a life care center. I will coordinate everything from staging to updating to clearing out unwanted items. Knowledge Of The Communities I have lived various neighborhoods in Fairfax County, Alexandria, Arlington and Loudoun County for over 40 years. I have sold more than 400 homes in communities such as Vienna, Oakton, Leesburg, Ashburn, Arlington, McLean, Alexandria, Falls Church, Great Falls, Sterling, Herndon, Woodbridge, and Reston. I am familiar with schools, school districts, neighborhoods, and community amenities. Why I Represent Both Buyers And Sellers, But NOT In The Same Transaction I represent buyers from start to finish with 30 plus years of experience, my negotiating skills are fine tuned to meet each buyer's criteria. I serve buyers and sellers separately, not dually. Even though dual agency is legal in VA, DC and MD I have always represented either buyers or sellers in a transaction, not both. As the saying goes, "a man cannot serve two masters." I know that some buyers think they can get "a better deal" by going through the listing agent. But that agent cannot represent their best interests AND the sellers best interests at the same time. My father was an attorney and, later, a judge. He knew that an attorney cannot represent both sides of a case. I believe the same principles apply to buying and selling real estate.
