I graduated from Warner Robins High in 1956, and earned a BA in history at Charleston Southern University, and a MA at The Citadel. My husband, George, and I raised 3 sons and a daughter. We lived in SC, Indiana, Hawaii, and Florida during the years George was in the AF. We moved to the Houston area in 1978 and have been here since. I taught at Summerville High School in SC, Southmore Jr. High and J Frank Dobie High in Pasadena Texas until I retired. During the time I taught, I was fortunate to be able to travel thirteen summers throughout many parts of the world.
