About:
Catherine Wilson is an experienced Realtor with over 20 years of real estate service. She received her Certified Residential Specialist designation (CRS) awarded by the Council of Residential Specialists. This is the largest not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. Realtors who receive the CRS designation have completed advanced courses and have demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential Real Estate. Fewer than 3% of Realtors nationwide have earned this credential. Catherine has also been awarded the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation. This designation is only given to agents who successfully complete a comprehensive course in understanding the needs, considerations and goals of real estate sellers and buyers age 55 and above. It allows Catherine to counsel mature adults on selling their homes, reverse mortgages, capital gains, estate taxes, social security and pension income issues. Catherine addresses other topics, distinguishing characteristics, and trends related to the 55 and older population, such as housing, finances and retirement income considerations, and helping these clients plan ahead for life's transitions. Catherine is also able to assist the children of seniors, taking into account special needs such as transition to assisted living, downsizing the contents of the estate, and providing referrals to excellent elder care services. Testimonials Carlson Real Estate Better Homes, Woburn MA “Thank you for your help in selling 99 Prospect St., Woburn. It has been a pleasure working with you. Our Associate, Kim Scarpa, has asked me to commend you on your professionalism.” Paula Suffredini, Manager, Realtor …”thanks & appreciation for all you did to get us into this house. Thank You, Thank You!” Lynn & Tony DiFinitio …”We were so pleased in your professional attitude and approach and it was a real pleasure working with you through this transitional period in our lives.” Bill & Heather Perkins …”You certainly helped to take away the worries that are involved in selling a home. Your knowledge, attentiveness and skill certainly made all the aspects of selling our home enjoyable and easy.” Donna & Christopher McCarron …”We cannot thank you enough for the way you handled the sale of our home in Burlington. As you know, we were in a desperate situation when we came to you. After having our home listed with another real estate agency for 90 days, without one single offer, we didn’t know where to turn. We stood to loose a $12,000 down deposit on our dream house in Melrose and possibly a legal suit if we couldn’t sell our house in 30 days…You were there for us whenever we called, or at least promptly returned our calls. We only wish we had come to you sooner.” Alan & Janice Helein …” I can’t thank you enough for the way you handled the deal of my house. Right from the start, your professionalism was obvious. I realize that you went a few steps further than you had to, but that is your nature. If you are going to do it, you do it right.” Doris Currier
