Bragging Rights:

Grew up with 1 brother and 3 sisters and listening to my dad, an engineer, singing Roger & Hammerstein with Berkeley Community Theatre. We know all the words. We moved to Johannesburg when I was 9 and where I attended Catholic School (thanks to Veronica aka Sr Jacinta). We returned during the '60s, a failed Renaissance, and moved to Sao Paulo, Brasil, where I finished high school. I received my BA in Eng Lit but in the work world after a brief stint at grad schol, I found I have a low boredom threshhold. Thus I can say I have survived retail, marine insurance underwriting, bookkeeping for the best achitect in town, sales admin for Clear Com which hit a million bucks in sales the time I was there; then a record promoter for direct-to-disc with recording sessions with Taj Mahal and promoting other artists. I worked for commercial real estate, hotel sales where I was #1 in Catering Sales, newspaper typesetting and proofreading, Dale Carnegie Training, parenting & teaching. Baby at 43. That's brave or stupid depending on the day.
