Weird Load is a political/culture blog started in 2008 in order to document the 2008 Presidential Race. Since then Chad Nance has used Weird Load and its ever-growing fan-base to cover politics from the bizarre political adventures of Alvin Greene to the daily realities of American political life. The Weird Load blog has been involved in direct action such as helping free imprisoned Yippie veteran Dana Beale from jail by raising bail money and started the ball rolling on the media side of the campaign to free Canadian child of marijuana activist Lisa Kirkman's son from DHS authorities in Oregon who had wrongly seized him.
