Abstract:

A client software component for a personal computer (PC) interacts with a server of an Internet Service Provider (ISP) to require messages, such as advertisements, to be displayed in a particular manner on a display screen of the PC for interaction with a user and reporting user activity. As long as a valid communication connection between the PC and the ISP exists, the PC is forced to display a particular message in a particular fashion. A user will not be allowed to minimize the message, close the message, or hide the message behind other windows on the PC display screen. The messages will also be interactive so that users are able to get more information related to a particular message, such as by automatically browsing to an associated location on the World Wide Web of the Internet. Information related to interaction with the user is also tracked and communicated back to the ISP for storage and reporting. The user is also able to designate message selection criteria, such as expressing an interest in seeing certain types of advertisements.

Abstract:

A one-piece post-tension tendon pocket former includes a pocket section configured to create a pocket in an edge of concrete, a formwork securing mechanism connected to the second end of the pocket section configured to secure the second end of the pocket section to a formwork, and an anchor securing mechanism. The anchor securing mechanism is configured to secure the pocket section to a post-tension tendon anchor with at least one fastener hole and includes an anchor sealing portion and at least one retention tab. The anchor sealing portion is configured to seal the pocket section to the post-tension tendon anchor. Each of the at least one retention tab extends from a side of the pocket section and is configured to be secured in one of the at least one fastener holes for securing the seal between the anchor sealing portion and the post-tension tendon anchor.

Abstract:

A negative tilting squat machine includes a base, a squat apparatus, and a linear angle actuator. The squat apparatus is pivotally mounted on the base. The squat apparatus includes a center post with a squatting device configured to slide thereon and allow the user to face the center post during exercise. A resistance actuator is configured to produce a force against the squatting device. Handles, shoulder pads, or a combination thereof are attached to the squatting device to provide the force produced from the resistance actuator against the squatting device to hands of the user gripping the handles, shoulders of the user pressing on the shoulder pads, or a combination thereof. A linear angle actuator is configured to adjust a squat angle between the base and the squat apparatus.
