Abstract:A golf club head () of the wood variety is constructed of a titanium ball striking plate (), a composite central housing part () and a back housing part () assembled into a unitary configuration. The central housing part and back housing part are constructed of a graphite composite with carbon fibers. One or more weights are fixedly secured within the back housing part () to provide a center of gravity for the head () located just rearwardly of the plate () and below the centerline between the top and bottom surfaces of the central housing part ().
