A method for modifying email signatures in emails by enabling the sender to use a numeric code appended behind the top level domain name of the intended email address portion of a readdressed email address. This readdressed address is received by an email server that inserts a numeric code-selected signature and forwards the email to the intended email address.
Any arrangement of URLv identity syntax can now be used in a repository, once its second. top domain is known to have an identity syntax. The repository can extract, select, store, organize, prioritize, and consolidate URLvs of differing identity syntaxes. The correlation and association among different contact entities' containing the same individual's identities can yield accurate same individual's identity and URLvs. These increase the competition of the Internet by enabling users to transport their data easily to websites allowing for individuals' data-transport.
Individuals' Url Identity Exchange And Communications
A method for managing data associated with a data profile involves providing a web server hosting facility, providing a set of remote-hosted second. top domains, storing, on the web server hosting facility, a set of web-accessible data profiles for a third level domain name of the set of remote-hosted second. top domains with any file suffixes, and searching and extracting data from the set of web-accessible data profiles to obtain extracted data.

Web individuals' exchanges can be easily created by users inputting in, through a personal access, their identified URLvs from differing second-top level domain names. An associated identities database and a URLv syntax database can verify that these differing second-top domain name URLvs belong to the same individual. Once URLvs are verified, the URLvs are stored in individual's personal data repositories, which can extract data from the stored URLvs' webpages, including through using APIs. The result is that URLvs can be used to easily input data into prior-art web exchanges, or can create new web exchanges by multiple people inputting in their URLvs to the new web exchange. These features enable data portability of the individual's own data and weaken current monopoly individuals' exchange websites.

Abstract:
An Internet server and indexing engine which provides an association of electronic business cards to virtual subdomains which allows the server to index, search for, and organize online electronic business cards on a dynamic basis. The collection of electronic business cards may be centralized or co-resident with the indexing web server, or a they may be collection of electronic business cards which are distributed among multiple Internet servers. The virtual subdomains for the online business cards may be repointed dynamically to alternate web object sources as desired without requiring an update of the web indexing server database.
WebBIZcontacts stores, searches, retrieves, and presents virtual subdomain addresses with differing domain names where these virtual subdomain addresses have a person's name in the subdomain name and the addressed displayed webpages can show the person's contacts information. There are two types of WebBIZcontacts. One stores VSAs in a database that when searched, use its VSAs to retrieve contacts information on the Internet. The second had already selectively extracted the VSAs' contacts information from the Internet and stores this information data into a searchable database. There are many embodiments of these types depending on where the virtual subdomain addresses are stored and what type of communications occurs between the search facility and the virtual subdomain servers. WebBIZcontacts joined with virtual subdomain addresses form a powerful contacts manager. Virtual subdomain addresses enable a brief and preferred address to communicate a person's identity (WebBIZcard); while, WebBIZcontacts enables for the search, retrieval, and storage of WebBIZcards.
Prior to this invention, a virtual subdomain address could not have a file suffix because the virtual subdomain name in a URL did not refer to a standard host that the file suffix could be applied to. With the invention, the file suffix can be added to virtual subdomains through remapping the virtual-subdomain-domain-file-suffix combination or the virtual subdomain-file suffix combination to a new address where an action script then occurs. In creating this file suffix and remapping, the user enters a file suffix name and chooses an action script to associate with this file suffix name. When a browser requests a virtual-subdomain-domain-file-suffix combination through entering it through the browser's URL box, this URL request is redirected to an address with the mapped action script. The action script then typically causes the sending of response web objects containing information previously entered or programmed for that virtual subdomain-domain-file-suffix combination. The response information typically is a database driven webpage. This invention changes the way virtual subdomain URLs can be represented and makes it indistinguishable in appearance from a standard URL. Two applications are organizing web content of a virtual subdomain address and to provide a level of privacy, security, and communications paths to virtual subdomain addresses.
