Abstract:

In accordance with one or more embodiments, networking devices may allow for directed wireless communication. Such devices may direct wireless communication beams in different directions to provide access to different zones. A user may configure a system to prioritize or restrict zones or devices based on criteria. This prioritization may facilitate tiered services among users or devices. A networking device may also direct communication between multiple routers to facilitate a distributed network, allowing for a single device to provide dedicated wireless bridging while separately managing a local wireless network.
