About:

I am a cheerleader for living in Las Vegas. My grandparents lived here for many years when I was growing up. The opportunity to move here in 2006 felt like coming home. This is the place my children will be from so I treat this community like their hometown. I have 4 children including a son with high functioning Asperger Syndrome Autism. I have worked in the community advocating for children with Autism. My other work experience includes celebrity personal assistant business manager, paralegal, QuickBooks ProAdvisor, social media manager, software development, and human resources manager. I love Las Vegas and the great people I have met living here. I have a blog VegasForTheFamily.com for the last several years where I have shared information to make life easier for families in our community. I am a proud graduate of the Las Vegas Citizens Leadership Academy in 2007 where I learned how this community really works. My college education started in the field of Natural History then evolved into Business Management BSBAM. My husband is the director of IT for a local company. I speak geek and know the challenges of working in that industry. (I worked for a bit churning out PERL scripts and taught myself S# just last year.) We have lived in Orange County, Seattle, San Jose, and now Vegas following the tech industry. There are great opportunities in this community where tech continues to grow.
