Abstract:

Embodiments of the invention relate to a method and apparatus for coating a medical device. In one embodiment, the method for preparing a substantially uniform coated medical device includes (1) preparing a coating solution comprising a solvent, a therapeutic agent, and an additive; (2) loading a metering dispenser with the coating solution; (3) rotating the medical device about the longitudinal axis of the device and/or moving the medical device along the longitudinal or transverse axis of the device; (4) dispensing the coating solution from the metering dispenser onto a surface of the medical device and flowing the coating solution on the surface of the medical device while the medical device is rotating and/or linearly moving; and (5) evaporating the solvent, forming a substantially uniform coating layer on the medical device.

Abstract:

Methods and apparatus for coating a medical device are provided. Abstract:

A grease filter and collection assembly for roof ventilators and the like includes a frame structure having a generally central aperture through which a grease discharge vent projects when the frame structure and trap assembly are installed surrounding the vent, and a replaceable grease-trapping material is removably secured in the frame structure so that the grease-trapping material is exposed within the aperture for trapping grease discharged from the vent. In a preferred embodiment, the frame structure is assembled from extruded frame members which integrally include a plurality of channels for securing and mounting the assembly for retaining the grease-trapping material within the frame structure. Upper and lower channels accommodate corner connections of the frame members. The frame members have side walls which peripherally enclose the grease-trapping material which is tucked between the upper and lower channel inwardly extending from the side wall.

An asymmetrically arranged hydrofoil and propeller system is disclosed for improving the speed and lift of watercraft such as amphibious vehicles. Abstract:

A sliding tray system for a storage unit to allow a user to easily access and utilize the rear of an elevated storage unit. The sliding tray system has a tray, roller supports, rollers, two tracks, and a pull strap. The tray has a well having a bottom wall, side walls and flanges extending outwardly from the side walls at a top of the well. The rollers are secured to the roller support and ride within the tracks. Additionally, retaining walls are secured to the flanges to provide a rear wall for the sliding tray system. Preferably, the retaining walls do not extend from the second end of the tray all the way to the first end of the tray.
