In New York City earlier this year, a 30-year-old man named Christopher Fuhrer was arrested after he kept his grandmothers corpse, wrapped in trash bags and covered in air fresheners, in her two-story house in Queens for several years.

Man hid his dead granny in garbage bags to stay at her NYC home
ked cops to perform a wellness check at the home on 65th St. near 68th Ave. in Ridgewood. Cops arrived about 6 p.m. Wednesday. And thats when Christopher Fuhrer, 30, led cops to a second-floor bedroom where they found the body of 85-year-old Erika Kraus-Breslin. The body was in a corner near a fan.
