Shroud of Turin May Be Genuine After All, Earthquake Helped Create It
A similar view was offered by Christopher Ramsey, the director of the Oxford Radiocarbon Accelerator Unit, where he finds it odd that other archaeological and geological materials in the same period were not affected as much as the Shroud of Turin.
Oxford University radiocarbon dating expert Christopher Ramsey and his colleagues were looking for organic material preserved for long periods of time in a still and airless environment, where radiocarbon levels would not have been affected by interactions with ocean water or groundwater.

Scientists find new evidence supporting John the Baptist bones theory
The findings of another Oxford researcher, Christopher Ramsey, using historical documents, suggest that the monastery of Sveti Ivan may have received a portion of John the Baptist's relics in the fifth or early sixth centuries.
