Abstract:
An integrated optics module for an optical scanning system that includes a scanning mechanism that generates a scan pattern from a laser beam is provided. The module includes an optics block, a laser mounted on the optics block, routing optics mounted on the optics block in the path of the laser beam emitted from the laser, a collection lens disposed on a surface of the optics block, and mounting fixtures configured to mount the optics module to the scanner housing in a fixed position. The routing optics are configured to route the laser beam through the collection lens toward the scanning mechanism when the module is mounted in the scanner system. If the laser beam routed through the collection lens is pre-aligned, no additional scanner system optical alignment is required when the optics module is mounted into the scanner housing.

Abstract:
A needle-free injection device, including a plunger and a spring operatively coupled with the plunger. The plunger is slidably disposed within a fluid chamber, is retractable to draw injectable fluid into the fluid chamber through an injection orifice, and may be advanced within the fluid chamber to forcibly eject injection fluid out through the injection orifice. The spring is configured to be compressed during arming of the injection device, and decompressed during discharge to forcibly advance the plunger within the fluid chamber. The injection device further includes an actuator operable to cause the spring to be compressed during arming of the injection device, and selectively operable prior to decompression of the spring to cause the plunger to be moved to a desired position within the fluid chamber.

Abstract:
A vehicle is described that allows an operator to adjust it specifically to fit the operator's desires. A seat can be adjusted for comfort and safety by adjusting distance from pedals, and a tilt relative to the frame. A particular seat cushion can also be adjusted to the particular desires of the rider. The relative movement of vehicle frame components when the vehicle is traveling over uneven terrain can be adjusted by adjusting a suspension dampener. The steering mechanism can be adjusted for a proper fit and comfort.
A needle-free injector for injecting fluid from an injection cartridge that has a longitudinal axis, an injection orifice at a distal end and a displaceable plunger. The needle-free injector includes an injector body having a longitudinal axis and a side opening to receive the cartridge from a position laterally offset from the injector body longitudinal axis. The needle-free injector further includes a system disposed in the injector body for providing injection power and a ram for transferring power from the system to the plunger. The ram is disposed in the injector body and is axially aligned with the longitudinal axis of the cartridge when the cartridge is in position in the injector body. The needle-free injector further includes a closure mechanism for closing the side opening of the injector body after the cartridge is in position in the injector body to lock the cartridge in place in the injector body. The disclosure also includes other apparatus and methods as discussed in detail herein.
