PROJECTS: Using PHP I created a Content Management System for a blog style site by reading and writing to text files, then XML files, and then databases. The site also got RSS feeds from other sites, and got information from a remote server where the backend was located. Using SmartFox Server and Flash AS3, I created a Hex board game which allowed clients to chat, challenge, and play against each other online. In a team based environment we designed and implemented the interface of how a pair of augmented reality glasses would look, and work using various methods such as prototyping, usability testing, and personas. As for the implementation process Flash (Action Script 3) was used. Implemented Craig Reynolds "Steering Behaviors for Autonomous Characters" in a 2D world using Flash (AS3), and then in a 3D world using C# and Unity3D. Created an interactive vertical shooting game using Flash (Action Script 3), and a XML file. Using Oracle DBMS I built a database using the dbca utility; Created users and specified the user's privileges. Created tables with constraints, and filled the tables with data using the sqlldr utility. Implemented basic connection between client and server node using OID Naming, Local Naming, and EZConnect Naming. I also went through several backup and recovery strategies. Using HTML5/CSS as a front end, PHP and Mysql as the back end. In a team based environment we created a dynamic voting web application. Using Javascript, JQuery, AJAX, Yelp API, Google maps API, and the Foursquare API, I created a mash up web application that displayed your location, as well as your friends recent locations. With the search bar you can search Yelp for places to eat, watch movies, etc. In a group of three we created a multiplayer game of assassin vs. assassin. To implement this we used Unity3D, SmartFoxServer, and C#.
