Funeral for jogger police say killed by husband

The body of Constance Murray, a mother of two, was found in a park Aug. 5 by a woman walking her dog. Christopher Murray, arrested Saturday, remained in custody as his wife's funeral was held at the John F. Givnish Funeral Home.investigators said Sunday that Christopher Murray, 48, trailed his wife as she went out for an evening jog Aug. 4 and the two began to argue. He continued to follow her, then he and his wife sat in Pennypack Park where they continued to fight, police said. Authorities say Constance Murray was strangled.After Constance Murray was found dead, Christopher Murray told the Philadelphia Daily News that her death was "devastating" and said she was "a beautiful woman; a loving, caring mother, a fabulous friend."

Autopsy results released in the afternoon revealed that Constance Murray was murdered while jogging in Pennypack Park, however she was not sexually assaulted and evidence shows only a minor struggle took place.
