A drug delivery device, including a body () having a reservoir () disposed therein for containing a medicament and an injection needle () for penetrating the skin of a patient, the needle () providing a path for the medicament between the reservoir () and the patient. Abstract:

A device for delivering a medicament into a patient's body by injection into or through the patient's skin includes a body having a reservoir disposed therein for containing the medicament, an injection needle for penetrating the skin of the patient, the needle having a lumen and communicating with the reservoir, and a pressurizing system for pressurizing the reservoir. The device also includes indicator means visible outside the device for indicating that delivery of the medicament is substantially complete.
