Description:

Corey was born and raised in Central Maine, split between the communities of Albion, Clinton, and Fairfield. Corey grew up helping his rather operate his small business in the town of Fairfield. Corey graduated from Lawrence High School and then went on to join the United States Marine Corps at the age of 17. While in the Marine Corps Corey was stationed in South Carolina for a brief time and eventually ended up permanently stationed in California. During his time in the Marine Corps, Corey did two tours of Duty in Iraq and Kuwait. Corey loved the Marine Corps, but unfortunately was unable to reenlist due to becoming injured. After his time in Marine Corps Corey moved back to Maine and settled in Augusta. Corey has done a number of different things including driving Class A vehicles, starting a local business for an investor, and most-recently working for the federal government at the Department of Homeland Security. Corey left his position with the federal government to pursue a dream of being an elected official, which he is currently doing as a candidate for Maine State Legislature in Augusta's District-56. Corey is a well-educated man, with a sincere desire to help anyone. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Managementand is pursuing a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Aside from concentrating on his own dreams and goals, Corey also contributes a great deal of time to his community. Corey is currently on the board of directors at the Augusta Downtown Alliance (a growing group of community members with a desire to promote and revitalize Augusta's Downtown). He also spends time mentoring students at Cony High School with hopes of inspiring them to be great. As a veteran Corey is also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
