Over the past year, two Utah families have lost their loved ones in the line-of-duty. Sgt. Cory Wride was shot through his patrol car window, last January, and Sgt. Derek Johnson was killed during a routine traffic stop, last year.
Brother-in-law Johnny Revill tells The Salt Lake Tribune ( http://bit.ly/1fLl0AY) that the service for Utah County sheriff's Sgt. Cory Wride will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Utah Valley University Events Center in Orem.
vigil Sunday from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. in honor of Sgt. Cory Wride and injured Deputy Greg Sherwood. The vigil will be held at the Sports Park, located at 295 W. Volunteer Drive in Spanish Fork. Deputy, a 'good man,' shot dead in Utah after stopping to aid a 'disabled' car
