Abstract:

Packages for housing consumable products and methods of using same are provided. Methods for teaching children to self-feed are also provided. In a general embodiment, the present disclosure provides a package including a body defining side walls () a first end wall (), an inclined second end wall () and an elongated interior compartment having a predetermined width for housing consumable products. In another embodiment, a package is provided that includes a body defining side walls, a bottom wall () a first end wall () oriented at 90 to the bottom wall, a second end wall () inclined at an angle with respect to the bottom wall (), and an interior compartment for housing consumable products, the package being so constructed and arranged to stand substantially upright.

A package is provided for housing consumable products. Methods for teaching children to identify foods to consume and for identifying product brands are also provided. In a general embodiment, the present disclosure provides packages including a body defining a perimeter and at least one interior compartment for housing a consumable product. The perimeter alone, or the perimeter in conjunction with the compartments, forms a shape that is not a typical geometric shape and that is a recognizable shape to a child such as, for example, a ghost or a dog.

Abstract:

A carton for display and shipping of product units includes two or more carton portions disposed side-by-side and a one-piece lid member spanning the carton portions. A line of weakness divides the lid member into portions corresponding to each carton portions. The lid member and carton portions include weakening so as to facilitate tear out with a simple manipulation by the user. A single carton unit is also disclosed.
