A flat-faced interactive training soccer goal used for soccer practice. The soccer goal has a goal frame held in compression and a net and web frame held in tension for increased rebounding of a soccer ball. The flat-faced soccer goal includes a goal frame made up of a plurality of metal tube sections joined together by plurality of connector sleeves and a pair of corner elbow sleeves for forming a pair of upright posts and a horizontal crossbar. A top portion of the upright posts is joined to opposite ends of the crossbar using the corner elbow sleeves. The corner elbow sleeves are bent at an angle greater than 90 degrees and upward to 110 degrees for forming a trapezoid configuration with the crossbar being parallel to the ground surface. The upright posts are disposed outwardly and at an angle from the vertical. When the goal frame is installed, the upright posts are moved inwardly into a vertical position for forming a rectangular configuration.
Flying Disk Target Assembly For Engaging And Catching Flying Disk
A flying disk target assembly used as a target in flying disk golf. The assembly includes a strut assembly attached to a vertical lower pole. The lower pole is received inside a basket sleeve centered on an open top basket. The sleeve is attached to an upper pole. The upper pole is received inside a chain and net assembly. The assembly includes an upper chain and net ring with ring sleeve is received on top of the upper pole for suspending the assembly. The upper chain and net ring is used for suspending a plurality of chains and a net. A weighted lower chain and net ring is attached to a bottom of the chains and the net. The lower chain and net ring includes a floating sleeve. When a flying disk hits the chains and/or the net, the floating sleeve acts as a shock absorber.
Method And Apparatus For Portable Flat Faced Rebounding Soccer Training Goal
A soccer goal anchor device used for securing a soccer goal in place and a method for installing the anchor device. The anchor device is used for engaging a portion of a soccer goal frame and securing the frame on top of a ground surface. The anchor device can also be used with other types of goals used on a playing field and other outdoor portable equipment. Also, the anchor device prevents the soccer goal frame from pivoting and falling onto a ground surface or the frame from being moved on the ground surface. The anchor device includes an auger for screwing into the ground surface. An upper end of the anchor device includes a clevis. The clevis is dimensioned to conform to different annular and angular cross-sections of goal frames for a snug and secure fit therearound. The clevis includes two upwardly extending flanges for receiving a portion of the soccer goal frame therebetween. The two flanges of the clevis include holes therein for receiving a nut and bolt, locking device or the like to secure the frame inside the clevis.

Abstract:
A portable soccer goal with rebounding net to return a ball struck into the net. The frame of the goal is formed by a pair of vertical posts and a long horizontal tube and is secured to the ground by a pair of base supports. Pivotable struts further support the vertical posts. The net has a sleeve that positively joins the net to the frame over the entire horizontal length of the frame, and there is a resilient mainstay cord threaded into the net near the periphery. The net and mainstay cord are secured by hooks at the base supports, and the net is oriented to the outside of the struts. When the struts are spread outwards, the tension in the net is increased so as to be sufficient to rebound a ball struck into the net.
