Abstract:

Various embodiments of a vehicle jack include a base, an upright support mounted adjacent to and extending upwardly from the base, a toothed rack, a toothed bar pin, and a release handle. The toothed rack has a first end and a second end and defines a plurality of ratchet troughs therebetween, and the toothed rack is mounted adjacent the upright support. The ratchet assembly is adapted to move along a path defined by the upright support, and the toothed bar pin, which is mounted adjacent the ratchet assembly, is adapted to selectively engage a portion of the toothed rack adjacent one of the plurality of ratchet troughs as the ratchet assembly moves along the path. The release handle is mounted adjacent the second end of the toothed rack, and the release handle is adapted to selectively disengage the toothed bar pin from one of the plurality of ratchet troughs.

Abstract:

Abstract:

Various embodiments of a vehicle jack an include an elevation assembly and a guide bracket. The elevation assembly includes a threaded member and an elongated support member, with the elongated support member configured to threadedly engage and rotate relative to the threaded member. The guide assembly includes a guide bracket configured to engage the threaded member such that the threaded member moves with the guide assembly as the guide assembly moves along a path defined by a longitudinal axis of the elongated support member. This movement raises or lowers a vehicle positioned on the jack. Various embodiments address the assembly of a vehicle jack by engaging a threaded member with an elongated support member and a guide bracket. Rotation of the elongated support member about its longitudinal axis causes the threaded member to move the guide bracket along a path defined by the longitudinal axis.

Abstract:

A support frame for elevating an object includes an object engaging portion connected to a guide assembly. The guide moves along a support assembly by actuation of an elevation assembly. The support assembly may be releasably connected to a base by a removable pin allowing the device to fold for storage. The guide includes a safety mechanism whereby a pin connected to the guide slidably engages apertures in the support assembly. The elevation assembly may include a threaded member connected to the guide, and an elongated support member threadably engaging the threaded member. Rotation of the elongated support member moves the guide along the support and elevates the object engaging portion. The elevation assembly may include a pulling force member connected to the guide assembly.

An assembly for removing odors from items having a first container formed from a material that is at least partially ozone impervious and that defines a first interior that is accessible via a selectively closeable opening, an ozone generator that is adapted to generate and expel ozone gas from the ozone generator into the first interior of the first container, and a fastening mechanism for selectively maintaining the selectively closeable opening in a closed orientation in which the fastening mechanism prevents access to the first interior. In various embodiments, when the selectively closeable opening is in the closed orientation and the ozone generator expels ozone into the first interior of the first container, the ozone concentration in the first interior is at a concentration of between 1 ppm and 2000 ppm and the ozone leakage from the first container is between 0.01 ppm and 0.03 ppm of ozone.

Abstract:

An odor removal assembly comprising a container that, when open, allows a user to place items into the bag's interior, and when closed, prevents a user from placing items into the interior of the bag. The container may include a fastening mechanism for closing the container. The assembly includes an ozone generator that generates ozone and expels the ozone through a conduit that extends between an outlet of the ozone generator and the interior of the container. The assembly may also include second container configured for placement within the first container. In such embodiments, a user may utilize a portable bag for use with the odor removal assembly without having to carry around the actual ozone generator. Rather, the user may insert the second container into the first in order to utilize the odor removal assembly.

Abstract:

A clutch assembly for connecting a drive member or a driven member to a shaft. The clutch assembly includes a tubular cup assembly that interfaces with a tubular receiver. The cup nests within the receiver, and they are secured by screws. The shaft is received within the cup whereby a non-circular element connected to the end of the shaft is received within a chamber having a non-circular interior sidewall. The receiver is connected to a drive member or a driven member. When a component connected to an end of the clutch assembly ceases to rotate, and a component connected to the opposite end of the clutch assembly continues to rotate, the clutch will prevent damage to either component by failing.
