Abstract:A method for preparing a surface of a substrate such as a polymer, glass, and the like to receive one or more images applied thereto. The method may include selecting a substrate having a surface, abrading a portion of the surface, and printing an image comprising a graphic, text, or some combination thereof on the abraded surface. The substrate may be masked to protect selected areas from abrasion. Additionally, if necessary, the substrate may be cleaned after the abrasion to improve the adherence of the image to the abraded surface.
