Abstract:

A computer chassis in accordance with the present invention is disclosed. The chassis includes a first body, a second body, and an electromagnetic shield coupled between the first body and the second body. The shield includes a plurality of dimples and a plurality of valleys for providing an electromechanical seal when the shield is placed in an interference condition. The chassis shielding system utilizes a shield with a design that is inexpensive to manufacture, is structurally sturdy, and simple to implement in an interference environment. In a preferred embodiment, the shield is provided for inserting between a circuit card mounting bracket and a computer chassis. The improved shield design incorporates special features including a plurality of dimples and a plurality of valleys, strategically located for providing improved adjacent surface contact and enhanced shielding from unwanted radiation.

Abstract:

A slot-type processor and one or more cache modules are incorporated into a vertically oriented, multiple chip module (CM) that is mounted to a printed circuit board. The MCM operates at ultra high frequencies and very high temperatures. Each component of the MCM has a heatsink, a thermal plate, and a series of mounting clips and screws which combine to dissipate heat. The heatsinks and thermal plates generate most of the electromagnetic interference (EMI) since they are not attached or grounded to the board. A series of alignment posts extend from the board and are used to individually and slidably mount each of the components to the board. Each thermal plate is grounded to the posts with grounding clips. The clips maintain contact with the thermal plate through wiping elements. Additional pressure is applied to the wiping elements through a post retaining bracket.

Abstract:

A non-transitory computer-readable medium whose contents, when executed by a computing system, can cause the computing system to perform operations for an audited shopping system that include receiving scanned product information identifying a current product and an associated weight of the current product. An indication can be determined to place the current product in a selected bag among a plurality of bags. The associated weight of the current product can be added to a previous calculated weight of products in the selected bag to provide a current calculated weight of products in the selected bag and then all previous operations can be repeated until receiving an indication that shopping is done to provide a plurality of products that are distributed among the plurality of bags, wherein each bag has a respective calculated weight of all products in the bag and indicating a selected one of the plurality of bags as an audited bag for weighing.
