Abstract:

A continuous device and process for extracting liquid from mash, sludge or pulp bearing slurries. The device comprises a pair of parallel opposed and counter rotating rolls each consisting of a base roll member having circumferentially disposed grid member consisting of a multiplicity of upright standing leaves which interbolt to form a grid which encases the entire surface of the roll member. Raw material for deliquification is spread over the grid and compressed by an inflatable, reciprocating platen to express liquid through the grid into underlying collection channels. The rolls are then rotated toward each other to express additional liquid and produce a substantially dry material. The liquid collected in the collection channels is withdrawn by applying a negative pressure through orifices located at the axial extent of the rolls.

Abstract:

An air delivery system for an engine includes a first air filter, a second air filter, a first conduit, a second conduit, an air box, and a third conduit. Each of the first air filter and the first conduit, and each of the second air filter and the second conduit are disposed at a first angle with respect to a lateral axis of the air box. The first angle is adapted to limit restriction to flow of intake air from each of the first air filter and the second air filter toward the air box. The third conduit is disposed at a second angle with respect to a longitudinal axis of the air box. The second angle is adapted to limit restriction to the flow of intake air from the air box to the engine.

Abstract:

A center pintle hub coupled to a base of a machine is disclosed. The center pintle hub is casted as a single piece. The center pintle hub includes a disc, a hole, a plurality of protrusions, a hollow cylindrical member, and a plurality of stiffening members. The disc couples to the base and includes a first surface and a second surface. The hole extends from the first surface to the second surface, along a central axis of the disc. The plurality of protrusions, disposed on the second surface, is arranged in an array of square configuration. The plurality of protrusions extends from the second surface and attach to a plurality of stiffeners of the base. The hollow cylindrical member is coupled to the first surface and arranged coaxially with the hole of the disc. The plurality of stiffening members is circumferentially disposed and equally spaced around the hollow cylindrical member.
