Abstract:
A chip stacker for a stack of chips includes an elongated chip counter having an upper end and a bottom end to define a height between the upper and bottom end corresponding to an integer number of the chips in a stacking manner. The chip counter has a plurality of longitudinal edges extended from the upper end to the bottom end and a plurality of guiding sidewalls formed between every two of the longitudinal edges, wherein each of the guiding sidewalls has a stacking surface has a predetermined curvature matching with a curvature of the chip, in such a manner that the chip counter is adapted for not only precisely counting the chips between the upper and bottom ends the chip counter but also easily stacking up the chips in an ordered manner when the chips are biased against the stacking surfaces of the guiding sidewalls to space apart the stacked chips side-by-side.
A resistance welding electrode body is fitted with a metal pin which serves as an anchor point for an electrode welding tip. The electrode welding tip contains two lead-in notches and diagonal grooves that allow the electrode tip to be locked onto the electrode body. This form of electrode has been found advantageous in terms of retaining the electrode tip onto the electrode body during resistance spot welding.

Abstract:
An H-plane waveguide probe includes a microstrip formed on a dielectric substrate with a loop conductor generally configured in the shape of waveguide on one side and adapted to capture an incoming H-plane signal. A transition conductor formed on an opposing side of the substrate with a first leg and a second leg, connected together by a bend portion. The first leg of the transition conductor is generally parallel to the H-plane for coupling microwave energy from the waveguide to the microstrip. The second leg of the transition conductor is parallel to the E-field and is used to change the direction of the captured microwave energy along the H-plane direction to the E-plane direction. In order to optimize power transfer, the impedance of the loop conductor is selected to be about the same as the waveguide. The transition conductor is used to convert the E-field energy to a 50. OMEGA.
Automated Vehicle Safety Response Methods And Corresponding Vehicle Safety Systems With Serialized Computing Architectures
Described herein are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for implementing automated vehicle safety response measures to ensure continued safe automated vehicle operation for a limited period of time after a vehicle component or vehicle system that supports an automated vehicle driving function fails. When a critical vehicle component/system such as a vehicle computing platform fails, the vehicle is likely no longer capable of performing calculations required to safely operate and navigate the vehicle in an autonomous manner, or at a minimum, is no longer able to ensure the accuracy of such calculations. In such a scenario, the automated vehicle safety response measures disclosed herein can ensure—despite failure of the vehicle component/system—continued safe automated operation of the vehicle for a limited period of time in order to bring the vehicle to a safe stop.

Abstract:
Embodiments relate to performing deposition of material on a substrate by causing short-distance reciprocating motions of the substrate. A series of reactors for injecting material onto the substrate is arranged along the length of the substrate in a repeating manner. During each reciprocating motion, the susceptor moves a distance shorter than an entire length of the substrate. Portions of the substrate are injected with materials by a subset of reactors. Since the movement of the substrate is smaller, a linear deposition device including the susceptor may be made smaller.
