Abstract:
The present technique provides a technique for electrically wiring devices using insulation displacement. The technique arranges a plurality of insulation displacement members in wedge-shaped configurations for piercing an insulation layer and electrically contacting a conductor of an insulated electrical wire assembly. The insulation displacement members may be disposed at any suitable angles and offsets to provide an effective multipoint electrical contact with the conductor. The insulated electrical wire assembly also may be carried by a wire support structure to facilitate insertion and removal of the insulated electrical wire assembly with the arrangement of insulation displacement members.

Abstract:
An in-plane fuse adapter provides a thin housing that may be received by a standard terminal block to present side surfaces conforming substantially to the width of the terminal block relay allowing other terminal blocks to be closely abutted to the left and right side of the terminal block relay when it is attached to a connector rail.

Abstract:
A latch assembly is provided for securing a switch operator to a contact block. The latch assembly includes a collar designed to retain the switch operator in the latch assembly. The latch assembly also includes a housing having one or more apertures for receiving fasteners to secure the contact block to the latch assembly. The collar is displaceable within the housing between a locked position that secures the switch operator and an unlocked position that permits disengagement of the switch operator from the collar. When the collar is in the locked position, corresponding apertures in the collar align with the one or more apertures in the housing, permitting the fasteners to be inserted through the collar apertures. Insertion of the fasteners through the collar apertures secures the collar in the locked position, thereby impeding unintentional disconnection of the switch operator from the latch assembly.

Abstract:
An LED driver circuit that can regulate the input signal voltage so that the driver circuit can be used over wide input voltage range or at predetermined voltages. Discrete components are used to drive an LED array with a constant current. The LED driver circuit includes a dynamic current regulator. The dynamic current regulator includes a resistor and capacitor in parallel to provide dynamic current regulation to a switching mode power supply circuit that controls the LED illumination.

Abstract:
An in-plane fuse adapter provides a conductive extension that may be received by a standard terminal of a terminal block relay or the like to present side surfaces conforming substantially to the width of the terminal block relay allowing other terminal blocks to be closely abutted to the left and right side of the terminal block relay when it is attached to a connector rail. A wire terminal is held by the housing and attached to the second socket positioned to receive and retain an external electrical conductor of a type normally received by the plurality of terminals of the terminal block relay.

Abstract:
A system for performing industrial automation control may include an audio device that receives audio data from an element in an industrial automation system. The audio device may determine orientation data based on the audio data. In addition, the audio device may determine an automation command to control a machine in the industrial automation system based on the audio data and the orientation data. After determining the automation command, the audio device may implement a first control action for the machine based at least in part on the automation command, where the first control action causes the machine to adjust an operation.
