Abstract:

Interactive program guide (IPG) data is delivered to a receiver from which a program guide can be retrieved. The IPG data includes schedule-data for each of a plurality of time slots, description-data for each of the plurality of time slots, and non-time-sensitive foundation data. The IPG data is delivered by the steps of: (a) delivering a plurality of segments of foundation data having a predetermined closed-loop order; (b) delivering the schedule-data segments for a first time slot; (c) delivering the description-data segments for a first time slot; (d) delivering the schedule-data segments and the description-data segments for each of the remaining time slots; (e) subsequent to the delivery of the first schedule-data segment for each time slot, during a gap of sufficient duration to enable the receiver to allocate memory space for storing all of the schedule-data segments for the time slot, delivering the next non-time-sensitive foundation-data segments in the predetermined order for use by the receiver; and (f) subsequent to the delivery of the first description-data segment for each time slot, during a gap of sufficient duration to enable the receiver to allocate memory space for storing all of the description-data segments for the time slot, delivering the next non-time-sensitive foundation-data segments in the predetermined order for use by the receiver. Subsequent to step (f), the next given number of foundation-data segments in the predetermined order are delivered until all of the foundation-data segments have been delivered at least twice.

Abstract:

Embodiments of the systems and methods disclosed herein includes a NAND flash memory having a boot volume. The boot volume can include a primary boot partition, a secondary boot partition, and a rootdisk partition. The primary boot partition can be configured to receive a kernel component of a file. The secondary boot partition can be configured to receive a copy of the kernel component of the file. The rootdisk partition can be configured to receive a root filesystem of the file.

Disclosed herein are apparatuses and methods incorporating an infusion pump and a CGM that can include software that automatically populates a blood glucose section of a bolus calculator with a most recent valid CGM value. The software can additionally be programmed to automatically populate the bolus calculator with a single CGM reading only when one or more predefined conditions are met that aid in mitigating the risk of inaccurate and/or invalid single CGM readings.

Abstract:

Various implementations described herein are directed to technologies for providing a software stack migration. A flash memory is provided. The flash memory includes a plurality of memory partitions. The plurality of memory partitions include at least two reserved memory partitions and a file system partition. A file system upgrade stored in one of the plurality of reserved memory partitions is provided. Partition sizes of the plurality of reserved memory partitions and the file system partition are changed in response to the provided file system upgrade.

Abstract:

A method is provided for authenticating two distinct objects using a single signature stored on one of the objects. On initiation of a hardware system a valid hash value can be generated based at least in part on a rootdisk file and a kernel can be modified to contain the valid hash value. On subsequent boots of the hardware system, the valid hash value stored within the kernel can be compared with a value of a potential rootdisk file and if the valid hash value and the rootdisk hash value match, the hardware system can proceed with the boot process.

Abstract:

A portable infusion pump can communicate with continuous glucose monitor (CGM) to receive continuous feedback relating to a user's blood glucose level during insulin or other medicament therapy and can automatically deliver insulin to a user when the CGM data indicates a need for additional insulin. Because patient behavior can interfere with the accuracy and efficacy of such closed loop or semi-closed loop therapy, a system can employ various mechanisms for manual temporary suspension of closed-loop therapy when a patient is aware that current or future behavior may inhibit therapy.
