Cyclic peptide compounds having 11 amino acids joined by a linking unit L, such that the linear dimension between the C carbon of the first amino acid and the C carbon of eleventh amino acid is between about 4 and 12 ngstrom units; are useful for inhibiting the binding of uPA to the uPAR receptor. Methods for using the cyclic peptide compounds, and compositions containing them, for inhibiting the growth or metastasis of cancerous tumors are also disclosed.

Abstract:

A framework installation guide assembly is provided that is selectively attachable to mounting rails of an electronic enclosure cabinet. The mounting rails include a plurality of mounting apertures at predetermined intervals. The framework includes a set of guide rails extending into the electronic enclosure cabinet. A first mounting bracket and a second mounting bracket are affixed to a first guide rail and second guide rail, respectively, for selectively coupling the guide rails to the vertical mounting rails using fasteners at a selected one of the mounting apertures. An array of rollers is coupled to the first guide rail and the second guide rail for providing support to a bottom-side surface of the electronic component. The array of rollers further provides a slidable support surface for allowing the electronic component to be moved to a position for securing the electronic component to the mounting rails of the electronic enclosure cabinet.

A smart rack having intelligent wireless climate sensors that detect and report one or more climate conditions is provided. The smart rack includes an enclosure that houses network elements and an array of intelligent wireless climate sensors that form a mesh network. The enclosure of the smart rack includes a console that displays climate measurements and notifications. The intelligent wireless climate sensors perform periodic climate measurements and detect climate conditions in the smart rack. When a climate condition is detected the console of the smart rack graphically displays the climate condition.

Abstract:

A method and system are provided for airflow management in a data center. The data center includes network elements, sensors, and heating, cooling and ventilation (HVAC) equipment. The sensors measure climate conditions in the data center and provide an airflow management system with measurements that are utilized to determine which areas in the data center violate data center temperature thresholds and require more air capacity. The airflow management system increases the airflow to areas that contribute to the violation by controlling HVAC equipment to increase air movement or by selecting other areas in the data center or external to the data center that have excess capacity and routing the excess capacity to the areas that contribute to the violation.

A computer-implemented method, network management system, and network clients are provided for out-of-band network security management. The network management system includes routers, firewalls, and out-of-band interfaces. The out-of-band interface of the network management system transmits access control lists to network clients connected to a trusted network. A multiprocessor system dynamically updates CPU affinities for processes executing on processors of the multiprocessor system based on an external signal.
