Abstract:

A projectile guidance system without gyros in which the projectile has an orthogonal body coordinate system. The projectile has a triax of accelerometers providing x, y and z acceleration data measured along the x, y and z axes respectively. A GPS antenna and receiver means provides onboard GPS position and velocity data in earth referenced navigational coordinates. A computer and program means stores and accesses time indexed GPS position and GPS velocity data and transforms x, y and z axis acceleration data from body to navigation coordinates. The program means is responsive to corresponding time indexed acceleration data and to GPS velocity and position data for calculating and outputing an estimated projectile roll, pitch and yaw angle via optimal smoothing techniques with respect to local level for each time index iteration of present position to a flight control system for guiding the projectile to a predetermined location.

Abstract:

An antler composition and its manufacturing process are disclosed, the composition comprises an antler extract mixture and a matrix which comprises β-cyclodextrin, a higher ester compound, a proteinase inhibitor, and an organic solvent; wherein the weight ratio of the matrix to the antler extract mixture is between 1:1. 5 and 1:2. 7. The antler composition poses excellent activities and stable properties to be released steadily in human body. The present invention also relates to the antler extract mixture and the process for preparing the antler composition and the antler extract mixture.

Abstract:

Ground targets can be passively identified on uneven terrain from an observation point elevation above a known reference point, a line-of-sight inclination angle, an azimuth angle and a digital terrain elevation database wherein actual elevations of surrounding latitude and longitude coordinates are stored and retrievable. Using the observation point's elevation above the known reference point and using the line-of-sight elevation angle from the observation point to the ground target, an initial estimate of the latitude and longitude coordinates of the ground target is made and used as an index into a digital terrain elevation database.

Abstract:

A device for adjusting camber angle of a vehicle tire/wheel assembly, comprising a camber arm having first and second arms and a cage. The cage comprises a cavity, top and front walls, sidewalls, and a cut-out, the first and second arms connected to the sidewalls. The device further comprises a ball joint assembly adjustably engaged with the cage, and comprising a housing and a lower clamping plate. The device further comprises an upper clamping plate, the upper and lower clamping plates bolted to the cage top wall. The ball joint assembly moveable from a first position where an outward portion of the ball joint housing is disposed outside of the cage cavity, and a second position where the outward portion of the ball joint housing is disposed within the cage cavity.
